WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing lunches for the Summer Food
Service Program sponsored by the Recreation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Moncla's Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$1.97 for each lunch with an estimated quantity of 13,000 lunches for an estimated
amount of$25,610; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Moncla's
Inc., Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Moncla's Inc., Beaumont, Texas, for furnishing lunches for
the Summer Food Service Program sponsored by the Recreation Division in the
amount of$1.97 for each lunch with an estimated quantity of 13,000 lunches for an
estimated amount of$25,610 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20"' day of
May, 2003.
