BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby approves the submittal of a section of Old Dowlen Road to
a point 2,200 feet from Dowlen Road to the Southeast Regional Planning Commission-
Metropolitan Planning Organization (SETRCP-MPO) as a potential candidate for
Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement program (CMAQ) funding. Federal,
State and local sources will provide eighty (80%) percent of the anticipated $1,265,000
project cost . The City of Beaumont will provide the remaining twenty (20%) percent of
$253,000.
