WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for purchasing fire hydrants
and meter box lids; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe and Supply submitted a bid in the unit amounts
shown below for an estimated total annual expenditure of$96,367:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Golden Triangle
Pipe and Supply should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe and Supply for an annual contract for
purchasing fire hydrants and meter box lids in the unit amounts shown above for an
estimated total annual expenditure of$96,367 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 6th day of May,
2003.
