WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for construction of the Downtown
Improvements Orleans Street(Crockett to Wall Street)Interlocking Concrete Brick Pavers;
and,
WHEREAS, Allco, Ltd. Contractor submitted a bid in the amount of$929,258.71;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Allco, Ltd.
Contractor should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED'BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allco, Ltd. Contractor in the amount of $929,258.71 for a
contract for construction of the Downtown Improvements Orleans Street(Crockett to Wall
Street) Interlocking Concrete Brick Pavers be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 6th day of May,
2003.
