WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to furnish grounds maintenance
services on M.L.K. Parkway; and,
WHEREAS, Lightfoot Enterprises, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of$2,130 per
mowing cycle; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lightfoot
Enterprises, Inc. should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lightfoot Enterprises, Inc. for a contract to furnish grounds
maintenance services on M.L.K. Parkway in the amount of$2,130 per mowing cycle for an
estimated annual amount of $46,860 based on 22 cycles be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of April,
2003.
