WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) cab and chassis
equipped with 14 cubic yard dump bodies; and,
WHEREAS, International Trucks of Houston submitted a bid in the amount of
$85,335.25 each for a total expenditure of $170,670.50; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by International
Trucks of Houston should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by International Trucks of Houston for the purchase of two (2)
2003 International Model 7600 cab and chassis equipped with fourteen (14) cubic yard
dump bodies in the amount of $170,670.50 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of April,
2003.
