BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, on October 16, 2001, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 01-246 awarding a contract in the amount of$3,652,918 to Boyer,
Inc. for the Phase I Improvements, Lawson's Pump Station Modifications; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for extra work increasing the contract
amount by $99,620 for a total amount of $3,752,538;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 1
in the amount of $99,620 increasing the contract amount to $3,752,538.
