WHEREAS, on June 25, 2002, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to Trans Texas Tennis, Inc., in the amount of$245,600 for the Athletic
Complex Post-Tension Concrete Tennis Court Resurfacing Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$8,292 is required for changes
in the plans and/or specifications thereby increasing the contract amount to $253,892;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 to the Athletic Complex Post-Tension Concrete Tennis Court Resurfacing Project in the
amount of $8,292 for changes in the plans and/or specifications increasing the contract
amount to $253,892. The project, as stated above, be and the same is herein accepted
and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final payment in the amount
of$44,892 to be paid to Trans Texas Tennis, Inc.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of April,
2003.
