WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, awarded a contract
to Brystar Contracting, Inc. on May 21, 2002, in the amount of $259,621 for Water Line
Replacement, Small Diameter Mains Contract II; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of($27,120) is required as 1,680
linear feet of water lines do not to be replaced;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 decreasing the contract in the amount of ($27,120) decreasing the contract amount to
$232,501.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
March, 2003.
