HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 03-065 RESOLUTION NO. 03-065 WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for the Walden Road Right-of-Way Project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the purchase in the amount of$7,950 for a 10-foot by 365-foot strip of property on Walden Road at Major Drive for the Walden Road Right-of-Way Project as described in Exhibits "A" and "B," be and the same is hereby, approved: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the property owners on the disbursement of the proceeds. RR Co., Section No. 1, Abstract No. 138, Jefferson County, Texas and lying in that certain P.N.Phelan Trust No. 1, 82.92 acre tract described in a deed as the second tract of Tract No. 8 recorded in Volume 1649, Page 362 of the Deed Records of Jefferson County,Texas, said 0.085 acre tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: For the PLACE OF BEGINNING a TxDot concrete monument found marking the intersection of west line of the new Major Drive right of way with the northerly line of the said P.N.
