WHEREAS, the lawsuit of David Leaven v City of Beaumont, has been discussed
in an Executive Session properly called and held March 4, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of David
Leaven v City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of
March, 2003.
