WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to purchase fire protective clothing for
the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Casco Industries, Pasadena, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
shown below:
BRAND QTY. PANT & COAT SUSPENDERS TOTAL
Globe 40 $1,222/Set $31/Set $50,120
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Casco
Industries, Pasadena, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Casco Industries, Pasadena, Texas, for a contract in the
amount of $50,120 as shown above to purchase fire protective clothing for the Beaumont
Fire Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of
March, 2003.
