WHEREAS, bids were received fora six(6)month contract forthe purchase of liquid
chlorine for use by the Public Works Department, Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS,Altivia Corporation of Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit price
of $305.80 per ton; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Altivia
Corporation of Houston, Texas should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Altivia Corporation of Houston, Texas, for a six (6) month
contract for the purchase of liquid chlorine for use by the Public Works Department,Water
Utilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of
February, 2003.
