REQUESTED ACTION: Council consider a resolution authorizing the acceptance of twelve
(12) water line easements for the installation of a 20" water main.
RECOMMENDATION
The property owners listed below have agreed to conveyed twelve (12) -ten foot(10') water line
easements to the City of Beaumont. These easements are all located adjacent to and abutting
Interstate 10 from Walden Road to Brooks Road.

RESOLUTION NO. 03-029
WHEREAS, the following property owners have each conveyed a ten foot (10')
water line easement adjacent to and abutting Interstate 10 from Walden Road to Brooks
Road out of the property, as described below and shown on Exhibit"A", pages 1 through
4, attached hereto, for the installation of a twenty foot (20') water main:

WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyances and
is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyances is necessary and desirable and
that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said easements conveyed by the above-named property owners be and the same
are hereby, in all things, accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of
January, 2003.
