BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, bids were received fora six(6)month contract for purchasing asphaltic
concrete for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas submitted a bid in the unit prices shown below:
Hot Laid Concrete Plant Pickup for Cold Laid Concrete Plant Pickup for
Jobsite delivery Jobsite delivery
$30 per ton $33.30 per ton $32 per ton $35 per ton
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas for a six- (6) month contract for purchasing
asphaltic concrete for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division
in the amounts shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
January, 2003.
