BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
WHEREAS, the claim of Debra Matthews has been discussed in an Executive
Session properly called and held Tuesday, January 7, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized to settle the claim of Debra
Matthews in the amount of Seven-Thousand ($7,000) Dollars payable to Debra Matthews
and Michael D. Getz, Attorney.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 14th day of
January, 2003.
