WHEREAS, bids were received for providing a five (5) year financing agreement
with a fixed interest rate of 2.735% for the purchase of one (1) 2003 Pierce Lance 75 ft.
aerial truck; and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation submitted a bid for a five (5) year
financing agreement with a fixed interest rate of 2.735%; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation for a five (5) year financing
agreement with a fixed interest rate of 2.735% for the purchase of one (1) 2003 Pierce
Lance 75 ft. aerial truck be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a lease purchase agreement for the trucks.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 31st day of
December, 2002.
