WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2)centrifugal trash pumps
for use by the water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Saladin Pump and Equipment, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$57,945; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Saladin Pump
and Equipment, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Saladin Pump and Equipment, Beaumont, Texas, for the
purchase of two (2) ACME Dynamics portable centrifugal trash pumps for the Water
Utilities Division in the amount of$57,945 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 17th day of
December, 2002.
