BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Council hereby supports and endorses the application of the Jefferson
County Sheriff's Department to apply for grant funds from the Texas Narcotics Control
Program. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to
support the Texas Narcotics Control Program grant funds application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Beaumont commits to provide the
matching funds not to exceed $63,367necessary to comply with grant conditions.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
November, 2002.
