WHEREAS, bids were received for a five (5)year financing agreement with a fixed
interest rate of 3.47% for the purchase of sixteen (16) automated refuse and trash trucks;
and,
WHEREAS, Banc One Leasing Corporation,Corsicana,Texas,submitted a bid with
a fixed interest rate of 3.47% for the purchase of sixteen (16) automated refuse and trash
trucks; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Banc One
Leasing Corporation, Corsicana, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Banc One Leasing Corporation, Corsicana, Texas, for a fixed
interest rate of 3.47% for the purchase of sixteen (16) automated refuse and trash trucks
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 12th day of
November, 2002.
