WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, awarded a contract
to BoMac Contractors, Inc. in Resolution No. 01-303 on December 11,2001, in the amount
of$1,394,832 for the Neches River Bank Restoration; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$188,300 is required for"extra
work;"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 increasing the contract in the amount of $188,300 for "extra work," increasing the
contract to $1,583,132
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
October, 2002.
