WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of two (2) raw
sewage pumps for use in the Water Reclamation Plant; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Placo, Inc., in
the amount of$109,640, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Placo, Inc., in the amount of$109,640 for the purchase and
installation of two (2) Fairbanks Morse C5741 raw sewage pumps for use in the Water
Reclamation Plant be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 12th day of
February, 2002.
