WHEREAS,bids were received for providing an annual contract for security guard and
event staff services for the Convention Facilities Division; and,
WHEREAS,Lofton Staffing and Security Services of Beaumont submitted a bid in the
amounts shown below:
Description Rate
Guard Supervisor $14.85 per hour
Ticket Supervisor $13.20 per hour
Ticket Taker $11.55 per hour
Usher Supervisor $13.20 per hour
Usher $11.55 per hour
Door Guard $14.85 per hour
T-Shirt Guard $14.85 per hour
and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion thatthe bid submitted by Lofton Staffing and
Security Services should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lofton Staffing and Security Services for an annual contract for
security guard and event staff services for the Convention Facilities Division in the above-
stated amounts be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 13''day of August,
2002.
