WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 5,350 feet of polyethylene pipe
for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS,Coburn Supply of Beaumont submitted a bid in the unit prices of$12.67
per foot for 18-inch diameter (approximately 3,800 feet) and $18.97 per foot for 22-inch
diameter (approximately 1,550 feet); and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Coburn Supply
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Coburn Supply for the purchase of polyethylene pipe in the unit
amounts of$12.67 per foot for 18-inch diameter(approximately 3,800 feet)and $18.97 per
foot for 22-inch diameter(approximately 1,550 feet)be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 611 day of
August, 2002.
