WHEREAS, bids were received for the sale of City-owned surplus property
described as Lot 5, Block 2, Carver Addition, located at 2145 Renaud Street, Beaumont,
Texas, as shown on Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS,Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church submitted a bid of$2,501.50;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mount Calvary
Missionary Baptist Church should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in the amount of
$2,501.50 for the sale of City-owned surplus property described as Lot 5, Block 2, Carver
Addition, located at 2145 Renaud Street, Beaumont, Texas, as depicted in Exhibit"A" be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute any and all documents necessary to transfer title of the above-described
property.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 6t' day of
August, 2002.
