ORDINANCE NO. 02-049
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE WEST 25.11
FEET OF THE UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN THE
ABANDONED JEFFERSON STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
BETWEEN WALL AND FORSYTHE STREETS, CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the westerly 25.11'x 300'portion of the general utility easement created by Ordinance
88-100 in the 700 Block of the abandoned Jefferson Street right-of-way, containing 0.172
acres, more or less, Beaumont,Jefferson County,Texas, as shown on Exhibit"A"attached
hereto, be and it is hereby abandoned subject to an agreement with Entergy to relocate its
utilities in the subject easement.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of June,
2002.
