WHEREAS, Beaumont Independent School District has conveyed a 1.108 acre tract
of land to the City of Beaumont for street right-of-way as part of the Phelan Boulevard
Extension Project, said tract described as being out of the A. Houston Survey, Jefferson
County,Texas,and located on the West Brook High School campus,as shown on Exhibit"A"
attached hereto;
WHEREAS,the City Council has considered the conveyance of said tract and is of the
opinion that the delivery and receipt of said tract is necessary and desirable and that same
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the tract conveyed by Beaumont Independent School District is hereby in all things
accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 301h day of July,
2002.
