WHEREAS, bids were received for a five (5) year financing agreement with a fixed
interest rate for the purchase of heavy and fleet equipment; and,
WHEREAS, Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group submitted a bid for a five (5)
year financing agreement with a fixed interest rate of 3.45%; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Bank of America
Leasing & Capital Group should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group for a five (5) year
financing agreement with a fixed interest rate of 3.45%for the purchase of heavy and fleet
equipment be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23'day of July,
2002.
