BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Chief of Police and the City Manager be and are hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to apply for, accept, and expend FY 2002 Local Law Enforcement
Block Grant funding from the Department of Justice,Bureau of Justice Assistance, providing
an allocation of 15% to Jefferson County with the remaining 85% allocated by formula to
Beaumont and Port Arthur.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9' day of July,
2002.
