WHEREAS,the lawsuit of Christian Jayme v.the City of Beaumont.Texas has been
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, June 4, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Christian
Jayme v he City of Beaumont in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($13,000).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of June,
2002.
