WHEREAS bids were received fora six(6)month contract forthe purchase of liquid
chlorine; and,
WHEREAS,Altivia Corporation of Houston,Texas,submitted a bid at the unit price of
$330.23 per ton; and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted byAltivia Corporation
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THATthe bid submitted byAltivia Corporation, Houston,Texas,fora six(6)month contract
for the purchase of liquid chlorine at the unit amount of$330.23 per ton be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of June,
2002.
