WHEREAS, bids were received forthe purchase of one(1)stationary platform truck
for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, International Trucks of Houston submitted a bid in the amount of
$81,092.47 for one (1)2003 International cab and chassis equipped with a platform body
sixteen feet (16') long; and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by International Trucks
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by International Trucks in the amount of$81,092.47 forthe purchase
of one(1)2003 International cab and chassis equipped with a platform body sixteen feet(16')
long be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day of June,
2002.
