WHEREAS, bids were received forthe purchase of one (1) 23 ton boom truck crane
for use by the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, International Trucks of Houston submitted a bid in the amount of
$155,134.53 for one (1) 2003 International cab and chassis equipped with a Terex Model
4792 boom crane; and,
WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by International Trucks
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by International Trucks in the amount of$155,134.53 for the purchase
of one(1) 2003 International cab and chassis equipped with a Terex Model 4792 boom crane
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18`h day of June,
2002.
