WHEREAS, bids were received forfurnishing lunches forthe Summer Food Service
Program (SFSP) sponsored by the Recreation Division; and,
WHEREAS, Regal Food Service,Inc.,Houston,Texas,submitted a bid in the amount
of$1.95 per lunch; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Regal Food
Service, Inc., is the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THATthe bid submitted by Regal Food Service, Inc.to furnish lunches forthe Summer Food
Service Program (SFSP)sponsored by the Recreation Division in the amount of$1.95 per
lunch is hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 4th day of June,
2002.
