WHEREAS, on April 10, 2001, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 01-096 awarding a contract to Allco, Inc. in the amount of$419,755
for the rehabilitation and conversion of the wastewater digester system; and,
WHEREAS,Change Order No. 1 was required to include the installation of equipment
necessary to perform the conversion of the digester system increasing the contract amount
by $104,938; and,
WHEREAS,Change Order No.2 in the amount of($103,345)is required to adjust the
estimated quantities during the performance of the project;
WHEREAS,Change Order No.3 in the amount of$28,094 is necessary to provide the
electrical system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized,to execute Change Order No. 2 in
the amount of($103,345)to adjust the estimated quantities during the performance of the
project and Change Order No. 3 in the amount of$28,094 to provide the electrical system
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 7th day of May,
2002. \
