WHEREAS,on July 3,2001,the City Council of the City of Beaumont,Texas,
passed Resolution No. 01-164 awarding a contract to Civil Constructors in the amount of
$596,513.91 for the Crockett Street Urban Entertainment District Interlocking (Concrete
Pavers); and,
WHEREAS,Change Orders No. 1 &2 were required increasing the contract amount
by $38,209.28; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 in the amount of($8,321.74) is required to adjust
the estimated quantities during the performance of the project decreasing the contract
amount to $626,401.45;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
3 in the amount of ($8,321.74) to adjust the estimated quantities during the performance
of the project decreasing the contract amount to $626,401.45. The project, as stated
above, be and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to make final payment in the amount of $98,468.51 to be paid to Civil
Constructors.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 30th day of
April, 2002.
