BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to approve an historic preservation
loan request for $7,750 to Mr. And Mrs. Gerald Carrens from the Historic Preservation
Loan Fund for exterior renovation of the residence at 2415 Gladys, Beaumont,Texas. The
work consists of:
pressure washing the house;
replacing broken pieces of siding around the perimeter and priming;
installing a moisture barrier and hard-plank siding on wood wall areas
on the upstairs rear of the house;
paint all trim, soffit, fascia and hard-plank white;
remove all roofing from the upstairs rear of the house; and,
apply a new roof on upstairs rear of the house.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of April,
2002.
