WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) atomic absorption
spectrometer for the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Varian, Inc., submitted a bid in the amount of$55,055; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Varian, Inc.
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Varian, Inc. in the amount of $55,055 for one (1) atomic
absorption spectrometer be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of April,
2002.
