WHEREAS, on October 30, 2001, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 01-258 awarding a contract to Horseshoe Construction, Inc., in the
amount of $456,532 for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation of Small Diameter Mains
Contract-IV; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 & Final in the amount of$114,130 is required for
"extra work", increasing the contract amount to $570,662;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
1 in the amount of$114,130 required for "extra work", increasing the contract amount to
$570,662.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont on this the 23rd day of
April 23rd, 2002.
