WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of asphaltic concrete for use by the
Public Works Department, Street and Drainage Division; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc. submitted the following unit amounts as shown:
PER TON
$30.00 hot laid concrete plant pickup
$33.30 hot laid concrete jobsite delivery
$32.00 cold laid concrete plant pickup
$35.00 cold laid concrete jobsite delivery
and,
WHEREAS,City Council is ofthe opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas Inc.
in the unit amounts as shown above, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by APAC-Texas, Inc. in the unit amounts as shown be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 9th day of April,
2002.
