WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of two (2)
combination neon and light signs to be installed at each entrance of the Crockett Street
Entertainment District; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Sparkle Sign
Company of Houston in the amount of$37,000 should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Sparkle Sign Company in the amount of$37,000 forthe purchase
and installation of two(2)combination neon and light signs to be installed at each entrance
of the Crockett Street Entertainment District be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 2nd day of April,
2002.
