WHEREAS,the lawsuit of Christine Jordan et.al.vs The City of Beaumont,et.al. has
been discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, February 5,2002;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the lawsuit of Christine
Jordan et.al.vs The City of Beaumont,et.al. in the amount of Five-Thousand Five-Hundred
($5,500) Dollars.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 5th day of March,
2002.
