WHEREAS,bids were received a one(1)year contract for the purchase of corrugated
polyethylene pipe for use by the Public Works Department, Streets and Drainage Division;
and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit
amounts shown:
$2.52 per foot 12" diameter
$3.52 per foot 15" diameter
$4.82 per foot 18" diameter
$7.70 per foot 24" diameter
$16.25 per foot 36" diameter
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Golden Triangle
Pipe, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe, Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of
corrugated polyethylene pipe for use by the Public Works Department,Streets and Drainage
Division in the unit amounts shown above be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
January, 2002.
