WHEREAS,bids were received forthe purchase of one(l)diesel powered excavator
for the Clean Community Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS,Mustang Tractor and Equipment,Beaumont,Texas,submitted a bid in the
amount of$197,601; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
and Equipment, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor and Equipment, Beaumont, Texas for the
purchase of one (1) Caterpillar Model 330 BL excavator for the Clean Community
Department, Landfill Division in the amount of $197,601 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22"d day of January,
2002.
