WHEREAS,bids were received forthe purchase of one(1)directional boring machine
for the Water Utilities Division; and,
WHEREAS, Ditch Witch, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$66,423.73; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Ditch Witch,
Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ditch Witch, Houston, Texas for the purchase of one (1) Model
JT52 Ditch Witch directional boring machine with tracking system,drilling fluid transfer system
and transport trailerfor the Water Utilities Division in the amount of$66,423.73 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of January,
2002.
