WHEREAS, bids were received for the replacement of the east sidewalk of City
Hall; and,
WHEREAS, Salenga Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in
the base amount of$51,684 for the replacement of the east sidewalk of City Hall, and
additional fill material as needed at the following prices:
ITEM PER CUBIC YARD
Cement Slurry Grout $110.00
Cement Stabilized Sand $127.00
Additional Brick Pavers —7—$20.30
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Salenga
Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Salenga Construction, Inc., Beaumont, Texas for the
replacement of the east sidewalk of City Hall in the base amount of $51,684 and
additional fill material as needed at the above unit prices be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
