WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar Model D6M
FTCLGP track dozer for the Clean Community Department, Landfill Division; and,
WHEREAS, Mustang Tractor&Equipment Company, Beaumont,Texas,submitted
a bid in the amount of$158,985; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor
& Equipment Company, Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Mustang Tractor & Equipment Company, Beaumont, Texas,
for the purchase of one (1) Caterpillar Model D6M FTCLGP track dozer for the Clean
Community Department, Landfill Division in the amount of $158,985 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the11th day of
December, 2001.
