WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of twelve (12) Self-Contained
Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and air cylinders for the Beaumont Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Four Alarm Fire Equipment, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount as follows:
SCBA Air Cylinder QTY Total
$2,230/ea $739/ea 12 $35,628
;and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire
Equipment, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Four Alarm Fire Equipment, Houston, Texas, in the total
amount of$35,628 to purchase twelve (12) Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
and air cylinders for the Beaumont Fire Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
December, 2001.
