WHEREAS bids were received for the purchase one (1)tractor with a front-end
loader and rear-mounted backhoe for the Public Works Department, Water Utilities
Division; and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount
of$47,386; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Houston, Texas, in the amount of
$47,386 for the purchase of one (1) New Holland LB75B for the Public Works
Department, Water Utilities Division be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of
December, 2001.
