ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO
ALLOW THE USE OF A TRAILER (MOBILE HOME) AS TEMPORARY
LIVING QUARTERS ON LAND ZONED RS (RESIDENTIAL SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) LOCATED AT 1825 MONTROSE,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS,the City Council forthe City of Beaumont desires to issue a specific use
permit to William L. and Victoria L. Manning to allow the use of a trailer (mobile home) as
temporary living quarters on land zone RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling District)
located at 1825 Montrose, being Lot 10, Block 2, Tract 1, Amelia Heights Third Addition,
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.74 acres of land, more or less,
save and except 0.5 acres deeded to Drainage District#6 for drainage (Tract 2) as shown
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS,the City Council is of the opinion that the issuance of such specific use
permit is in the best interest of the City of Beaumont and its citizens, subject to the
hereinafter described conditions;
0 The temporary living quarters is for a period of 8 months; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That a specific use permit to allow the use of a trailer (mobile home) as temporary
living quarters on land zoned RS (Residential Single Family Dwelling District) located at
1825 Montrose, being Lot 10, Block 2, Tract 1, Amelia Heights Third Addition, City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County,Texas, containing 0.74 acres of land, more or less, save and
except 0.5 acres deeded to Drainage District #6 for drainage (Tract 2) in Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, is hereby granted to William L. and Victoria L. Manning, their
legal representatives, successors and assigns for those certain tracts described on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, subject to the above
conditions.
Section 2.
That the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in
accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit"B"
and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto, the use of the property hereinabove
described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations
contained in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 27h day of
November, 2001.
